Sesame Noodle Bowl

Sesame Noodle Bowl

This bowl has an awesome dressing that makes it totally delicious.  While this recipe is vegetarian, you can add some of your own protein with leftover chicken, or some tofu. 


Sesame Sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
½ tablespoon of rice vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
½ tablespoon ginger, minced
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon water

1 tablespoon sesame seeds
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Noodle Salad
2 oz of soba noodles
½ one large carrot, chopped fine
½ medium sized cucumber, chopped fine


Add noodles to your bonbowl with 1 cup of water.  Cook on high for 10 minutes and then drain the water.  While the noodles cook, mix all sesame sauce ingredients in a salad dressing shaker or small bowl and mix vigorously.  Finely chop the carrots and cucumbers and mix with noodles.  Add dressing right before eating and top with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes
